Courses in Bulgarian language for third countries nationals
The Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Stara Zagora, Sofia, and Haskovo organize courses in the Bulgarian language for people from third countries, including migrants and refugees, in implementation of the ERIAS project (European Scheme for Integration of Refugees). Courses are expected to start in May - June 2021. Duration – 3 months. Level – A1 – A2. Participation in the courses is free of charge. The Farmer Festival in Sofia is been held by Hrankoop Sofia from 2014 to 2020 in Zaimov Park and near the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. The new location is the park in front of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), near the Patriarch Evtimiy Blvd. and Fritjof Nansen St. Now twice a month, on Sundays, you’ll be able to meet some favorite Bulgarian producers and craftspeople, there will also be new ones, we will learn together, we’ll co-experience culinary ideas, we’ll support valuable causes and will have fun with some good music and interesting cultural program

International Folklore Festival Vitosha
International Folklore Festival Vitosha
Vitosha International Folklore Festival is held annually in July in the capital of the Republic of Bulgaria - Sofia. Vitosha IFF is a cultural event of international scale and great national importance, helping us to preserve our national image through our folklore. Representatives of different cultures from all over the world meet during this impressive occasion, united by their great love of folklore. The purpose of the festival is to promote the art of regional folk dance from different areas of Bulgaria, and to get the audience acquainted with the folklore of the visiting countries. The festival is an opportunity to create new contacts and friendships. The first Vitosha IFF was held in 1996, and since 2016, the 20th anniversary edition, the festival has been competitive. Vitosha International Folklore Festival is a member of the Federation of international dance festivals FIDAF. The festival is awarded as FIDAF Best Festival Award for 2016 and 2019. The organizers of the festival are: Association "International Folklore Festival Vitosha", Sofia Municipal Council, Sofia Municipality - Department of Culture and Education, Vitosha District, Community center "Vitosha", with the kind assistance of the Ministry of Culture. Training “How to find a job in Bulgaria”
Training “How to find a job in Bulgaria”
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a training for third countries nationals on the topic: “How to find a job in Bulgaria” that will reveal the steps required to be employed. The event is part of the ERIAS project (European Scheme for Integration of Refugees). Lecturers of the training are: Emiliya Bratanova van Harten, Integration Expert at UNHCR Bulgaria, Mrs. Mariana Tosheva, Program manager, Refugee-migrant Service, Bulgarian Red Cross. The main topics that will be covered are: • The role of employment for the integration of refugees in Bulgaria. •Steps required to be employed in Bulgaria – legal issues, best practices and useful contacts The training will be useful to foreigners from third countries that want to settle in Bulgaria and start working. Information about the practical steps to find a job, legal issues, necessary documents, best practices and useful contacts will be presented. Translation into Arabic and/or English will be provided according to the preferences of the participants. Mini Art Fest “Climate of Change”
We are happy to announce the dates for the 11th edition of Mini Art Fest, which will be held in collaboration with the Bulgarian Environmental Partnership Foundation and the MagdaClan Circus from Italy. When and where? Location: the parking lot in front of the Academic Stadium in Sofia On July 23, 24 and 25 you will have the opportunity to visit circus workshops, numerous performances and art installations. The highlight of the program is on July 24 and 25 from 20:00 with the performance "WeLand" by MagdaClan Circus from Italy. The program starts every day from 5 pm to 10 pm. About the show "WeLand" / July 24 and 25 from 20:00 / Seven artists and acrobats, four musicians, an impressive set design and many stories to tell. These are just some of the numbers of the outdoor contemporary circus show of #ClimateOfChange, the communication campaign led by WeWorld, created to raise awareness amongst youth on the link between climate change and migration. The first stop of the show is in Sofia.The program also includes a one-man show by Galina Riom-Roybeck, Shizi Impro Theater, a fire show by Palyachi from Varna and will provide an opportunity for dialogue and debate on the main topic of climate change. Open Buzludzha Fest
Welcome to a wonderful place in the Balkans for a special weekend full of music, games, dancing, culture, and many surprises. We will have fun together with Wickeda, Stefan Valdobrev, Ivan Shopov, Ogi23, Mila Robert, and many other fan-favorite musicians. The funds from the event will be used for the Buzludzha monument as the first goal is to preserve the external mosaics through a protective shelter worth 64,000 BGN. The results will be presented for the first time within the festival and at the international conference on dissonant heritage, which will be held immediately before it on July 22 and 23 at the Historical Museum "Iskra", Kazanlak.
